The UK has set out an ambitious vision for a 21st-century healthcare system, underpinned by modern, preventative services, better use of data and patient-centred care. At the heart of the Government’s vision is a focus on “levelling up” opportunities across the country, and addressing health inequalities is key to achieving that. A renewed emphasis on prevention and early intervention, as laid out in the Government’s Prevention Green Paper, can help provide further impetus.
Many of these issues were touched on in our recent publication, A New Deal for Prevention, a series of blogs discussing how to ensure that every patient has access to high-quality, preventative care. Taking lessons from COVID-19, this discussion will provide an opportunity to explore the key challenges and solutions for the future of preventative healthcare. This event has kindly been sponsored by MSD.
This event will take place on Zoom. If you would like to attend, please email events@test.helloknox.com to register your interest.
