Kinga Morsanyi
Re:State ScholarKinga is a Reader in Mathematical Cognition at Loughborough University. She has broad research interests, which lie at the intersection of research into mathematical cognition, thinking, reasoning, and decision making. In addition to the typical and atypical development of complex thinking skills, she is also interested in how affective and motivational states influence maths and reasoning abilities, and how maths and reasoning skills can be improved by training.
As a Re:State Scholar, Kinga will write about the consequences of the underdiagnosis, and the lack of recognition and targeted support for dyscalculia, and the steps that could be taken to address these issues.
