Digital transformation in the public sector

This event will launch a Reform Ideas publication of the same name. The report will give a high-level overview of digital transformation in the public sector, examining the weight of past mistakes, the role of leadership and skills, and issues surrounding procurement and legacy infrastructure. This event will provide an opportunity to discuss the practical solutions to these issues and highlight lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, which served as a catalyst for the further digitisation of certain areas of the public sector. These lessons will be incredibly important to take forward, as well as how digital transformation can continue to help the public sector become more efficient and effective.

Confirmed panellists include:

  • Paul Maltby, Chief Digital Officer, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government
  • Lara Sampson, Product Director for Universal Credit, Department for Work and Pensions
  • Nicky Murphy, Head of Healthcare Public Policy (EMEA), Amazon Web Services
  • Eleonora Harwich, Director of Research, Re:State (Chair)

The event is kindly being supported by Amazon Web Services. Please contact events@test.helloknox.com if you would like the registration details.
