Re:State is delighted to be hosting a panel event at Labour Party Conference in partnership with Cohere.
Boosting public service productivity is key to improving services for citizens and supporting economic growth. Generative AI and large language models promise significant productivity opportunities in public services – making them much less reliant on human intervention for routine administration, freeing up public sector workers to support those who need their help and making smart, timely decisions that maximise the return on public investments.
Achieving an ambitious reform agenda means making careful decisions about how to realise the benefits of AI, with the aim of translating these directly into outcomes the public can see on the frontlines. Smart deployment could be game-changing for achieving a more responsive, value for money State.
Reform is delighted to hold this panel with Feryal Clark MP, Minister, AI and Digital Government, Tom Adeyoola, Co-founder, Extend Ventures, Kirsty Innes, Director, Technology Policy, Labour Together, and Nick Jakobi, Director, Product, Core Modeling, Cohere, to discuss Labour’s vision for AI adoption in government.
Please note this an in-person, public event. If you would like to attend, please join us in Education Area 2 at the Museum of Liverpool.
