Investing in the future: the Liberal Democrat vision for long-term growth

The OBR predicted that the Government's Autumn Budget will be unlikely to lift economic growth over the next five years. Action is needed to encourage investment, repair the public finances and alleviate the strain on public services.

Investing in our public services was a key plank of the Liberal Democrat manifesto, in particular rebuilding the NHS and addressing the social care crisis which is having a negative knock-on impact on NHS services.
