There are a growing number of women in leadership positions across business and the public sector who have invaluable insight and experience to contribute to the debate around the future of public services and spending priorities, and yet lack the forum to do so. As one of the few think thanks with a female Director, we are committed to diversifying the conversation. We are building a Women's Network of engaged women to diversify the conversation, and we believe that by doing so we can help government achieve better policy.
This dinner focused on how the digital revolution is transforming how we live and work, but only can only be a success if the benefits are felt across all parts of our society. Drawing on her current role, and her previous experience as Minister for Women and Equalities, the Secretary of State started a discussion on the importance of diverse perspectives and leadership within our tech sector.
Re:State was delighted to host this dinner, led by Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to discuss the importance on the role we must all play if we are to shape emerging technologies for the public good.
The dinner was held under the Chatham House Rule.
