Partners' Dinner: Building a dynamic post-Brexit economy

Re:State has deliberately avoided turning its attention to Brexit, but we are committed to holding several high-level policy events bringing together interesting voices to discuss domestic policies for the UK after Brexit. Prosperity varies considerably across the country, with analysis suggesting that post-Brexit this inequality may be exacerbated. The Government’s approach to industrial strategy and infrastructure investment will be key to rebalancing the economy. The uncertainty surrounding Brexit is holding back investment decisions, and the Government has big questions to answer about the regulatory and tax environment post-Brexit.

Re:State was delighted to host this dinner, led by Andy Haldane, Chief Economist, Bank of England, to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the economy post-Brexit.

The dinner was held under the Chatham House Rule.
