Alice Semark

I first joined Re:State in September 2024 and I am a researcher primarily working on the Reimaging Health programme. Before joining Re:State, I volunteered for a homelessness charity, in conservation work and as an athletics coach, as well as spending time working at a GP Practice and in service industry roles. My policy interests include health, social care, the civil service, defence, justice, and technology.

My favourite reformer is… 

Marsha P. Johnson. A trailblazer for the LGBTQ+ rights movement and HIV/AIDS activist who committed her whole life, unwaveringly, to helping and advocating for others.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

Fear of being late.
