Victor is Chief Executive of the charity Turning Point, and a champion for the cause of those affected by poverty, mental ill health, drugs, alcohol addictions, a learning disability and those with cross cutting and complex needs. He is a Visiting Professor and Chancellor at the University of Lincoln, holds numerous honorary doctorates and is a non Executive Director of NHS England. He was appointed a cross bench member of the House of Lords in 2001.
